Husky - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Thor-Hospice help
Description
We just learned the Thor has Transitional Cell Carcioma. His wonderful foster home Kendra and Bryan will be providing him a home to live out the next month or so that he has left. Please donate to Thor's final care. UPDATE 9/22/09 Thor's foster mom and dad have done an amazing job making Thor into the healthy dog that he is now. Thor is at a really great weight, is doing well with most other dogs now and even seems to be ok for bold cats. Thor knows all of his commands including heel, sit, down, come and kennel up. He has made just amazing progress and one would think he had been a pampered pet his entire life. We can't seem to figure out why Thor has yet to be adopted. He is a great companion, really funny and would do really well for a young couple or a family with older kids. Please give Thor his well deserved forever home! * { font:inherit; } Thor is a 3 - 4 year old Husky. He was found running loose with a chain dragging behind him.Nobody bothered to look for him at all.Thor is a very social dog and is very friendly. He seems to get along with other dogs ok but would prefer to be the only dog in the household we think. He is currently fosteredwith other huskies and he doesnot really like othermale dogs. He isn't vicious by any means just prefers not to interact really. Poor Thor looks like he had bad fly bites or frost bite on both ears and he is such a wonderful dog with a great temperament.THor iscompletely housetrained andhe crates ok. He has the classic husky attitude but he will do anything foryummy treats oraffection.Thor would be fine for olderchildren and is very loving. He is better placed in a home without cats - he focused on my cats and was not easily distracted. If you are looking for a very friendly companion with an easy going activity level thenThor would be the dog for you. UPDATE: Thor has been clicker trained and has finish obedience class. He has come leaps and bounds from where he was when we first got him. Thor would make a great companion for an adult household that loves huskies. These pictures just don't do him justice.
