Italian Greyhound - Small - Adult - Female - Dog - Dorothy

Dorothy is an eight-year-old Italian Greyhound. She is cute, cuddly, and lovable. She becomes attached to people very easily. She loves to play with her foster brother. Dorothy came into rescue little overweight and was known to have seizures. She has trimmed down and has had only one minor seizure while in rescue. She currently takes a small dose of Phenobarbital. She is a happy spirit! She has had many play dates with all sizes of dogs. She will assert herself with dogs that come on too strong for her. It takes her a few minutes to warm up to strangers, but once the trust is shared, she is a loyal friend. Dorothy would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. She is house trained, and needs to be let out every four or five hours. The foster home is still working on crate training, she has not learned to appreciate her crate quite yet.
