Blue would make a wonderful pet for a primary female owner with no children in their future. He has made tremendous gains in meeting new people since coming to his foster home but is scared until he gets to know someone. He needs the freedom of running in an above ground fenced in yard. He adores going for long walks!! Even though Blue may take awhile to warm up to new people, he is 101% L-O-V-E once he gets to know you. It will likely take several visits to get to familiarize you with him. His foster parents will bring him to your home for a couple of visits so that we can all decide if he is the right dog for you.v. He really needs a new home of his own. Can you take a chance on Blue? ------------This 3-years boy is very puppy like yet. He has plenty of energy for hours of fetch/ball! And Yes, he Will bring the ball back to you! Playing outside several times per day is his favorite thing next to brushing & hugs. You will be amazed at all of the commands that he knows: sit, lie down, shake with both hands & sit-stay. Blue is extremely smart & would enjoy learning new things. Doggie Obedience classes would be sooooo much fun! You will be happy to know that he is house-trained and prefers to go potty every 6 hours or so. He has only lived inside all of his life. No cats or small doggies please; He thinks those types of small pets are for chasing. (but does enjoy the company of a Cocker Spaniel mix who will chase/play with him.. Blue loves to be chased!!) . We are asking for a $75 donation He has been neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations & heart worm checked. Once you get to know each other, you will quickly become best friends. Applicants should be not much more than about 135 miles from Madison, WI so that the foster parents can bring Blue to visit you in your home. wibichon@yahoo.com
