Bichon Frise - Small - Young - Female - Dog - Bichon Help Needed
Description
*WI-BFR has many Bichons with "Special Needs" for adoption. Several are not yet shown here on our Pet Finder page. *Characteristics of the Special Needs Bichons might include: 1) boys who lift their legs inside the house & will need to wear belly bands (Belly Bands lovingly made & supplied by volunteers of WI-BFR), 2) girls who refuse to be house trained, 3) older than 7 years, 4) not safe to have in homes with children or visiting grand children 5) under socialized / afraid / protective when around strangers - need home where people seldom visit or when the Bichon can be kept away when visitors come *Although the Bichons shown in the picture here have already been adopted, there are always many "Special Needs" Bichons that remain in long-term foster care. *Each of these girls/guys have medical, food, & grooming needs that WI-BFR must cover. Their care may also include dental cleanings, updated vaccinations & monthly heart worming. Several require daily medication. *We greatly appreciate any donation - large or small - to provide medical care for Bichons in long-term care. If you can't adopt, consider sponsoring the needs of a long-term foster fluff! WI BICHON FRISE RESCUE - an all volunteer, Non-profit organization.
